Social Program

The University of
Newcastle Ultimate Frisbee Club (NUdiscs), in conjunction with major
sponsor The University of Newcastle Union Ltd (Union) are organising a
comprehensive social program for the duration of the championships. The social fee for the 2001 AUC has been set at $50 per person. This is an increase from previous years; however, the social package has also increased and is valued at over $84. |

The social fee gets you the following:
 | Welcome BBQ - Monday night |
| Lunch – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday |
| Dinner – during the feature games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights |
| Presentation Dinner – 3-course meal, Thursday night |
| The bar will be open each night |
| Extra food and drinks – available for purchase Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday |
| A disc featuring the championships logo (see below for logo) |
| Trivia Competition – Tuesday night |
| DJ - Thursday night |
We recognise that the social fee
has increased from previous years, but we hope that when people consider the
increase in costs of the discs (due to the low Australian dollar) and the extras
food and entertainment being provided, people will be willing to participate.
Spectators are also welcome at the Championships, and are welcome to pay the
social fee to attend the various functions.
